Bagel Miller
Included In
Lincoln Square bakery Baker Miller relaunched last year as Bagel Miller, a dedicated bagel, sandwich, and bagel sandwich shop. The bagels are thick and come in a handful of typical flavors like asiago or everything. Depending on how closely staff is monitoring the toaster, yours might show up a little tough or topped with burnt pieces of garlic and onion flakes. But when the toasting levels are optimized, the structural integrity of these bagels makes them great vehicles for very filling sandwiches. Skip the options with eggs, which have a strange texture and may or may not be powdered, and go for one of the specialties instead. Besides a tasty lox sandwich piled high with toppings, Bagel Miller also has spins on deli classics like beef pastrami with giardiniera cream cheese. Order your food to go at the walk-up window, or there’s a handful of booths inside for dine-in.
