Connor Larkins is a basement Irish pub on Huntington Avenue filled with Northeastern students. It’s a good option if you want a drink and a quick bite before a game at Matthews Arena, or if you just went to something really classy at Symphony Hall and want to balance it out with cheap pitchers of beer and bar food.
SRV in the South End is a great Italian restaurant with plenty of room, outdoor space, and pasta.
Mida is a nice Italian restaurant with an opera singing bartender on the South End/Roxbury border.
Hojoko is a Japanese restaurant in the Fenway that is the opposite of a sensory deprivation tank.
Basho is a cool and casual Japanese spot in the Fenway with sushi and a big menu of small plates.
