LoLo is a new natural wine bar from the people behind Hotel Vegas and Volstead Lounge – technically, the first spot in Austin dedicated to natural wine. It’s on East 6th, so it can kind of be a zoo around there on weekends, but it’s worth checking out, even just to pop in for a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. Or spend a Sunday afternoon hanging out in the big dog-friendly backyard patio with picnic tables. Part of the bar is a bottle shop for purchase to go. The wine list leans very French and Italian, but there are also wines from California and Texas (there are also Lone Star tall boys because it’s still East 6th Street). Sometimes wine bars can feel a little stuffy, but LoLo is fun and accessible – glasses start at $10 and bottles start in the $30s. We’re excited to have another place to drink interesting wines.
