It’s hard to miss the bright orange Zunzi’s sign on Howell Mill and even harder to overlook their “Sh*t Yeah” slogan. But after a bite of one of their sandwiches, you'll nod in agreement—these extra saucy subs, which are thoroughly spiced and served with French bread, are exciting shake-ups to the city's sandwich scene. It took over a decade for this Savannah, Ga.-born, South African sandwich place to put down roots in ATL. We just wish they came sooner because we could have spent more years eating our favorites like the Godfather with tender chicken and Boerewors sausage doused with their tangy, signature Sh*t yeah and Sheba sauce. But no visit to this fast-casual counter service-spot would be complete without a few of their wings covered with creamy Mustafa curry.
