Behind a nondescript blue wall inside Forum Cocktail Co. in ChatWorks lies a speakeasy for people who just want a damn good cocktail. Because that's pretty much all the Midnight Room offers in their tiny lounge aside from a color-changing neon sign that reads, “Cocktails, yes. You, maybe.” Don't bother looking for the drink menu. Just describe your favorite liquors and flavors, and the bartenders will whip up something on the spot. And these aren’t bartenders at a college party throwing a splash of Sprite into a cup full of vodka. They know their sh*t. With a blow torch and candied orange peel, a regular Old Fashioned somehow now tastes like sippable gold. Reservations are required for the experience, but we don’t have any about coming back here.
