Located in the iconic Chinatown Mall in Chamblee, Family Baking (previously known as Rolls Village) stands apart for their reasonably priced menu, vegan-friendly options, and unique bakery items (eyes on you, Spam baos, hot dog flower buns, and chocolate baos). But if there’s one must-have order here, it’s the Hong Kong egg tarts, located in a heated display case right next to the door so you can’t miss it. The best in Atlanta, these flaky tarts cradle slightly sweet and eggy custard middles. And for plant-based crowds, the vegan coconut pandan bun is another one of our favorites. While there are a few tables here, most people grab their pastries to go, and the bakery often stay well stocked into the late afternoon.
