With speakeasies and supper clubs making a comeback, this cabaret dinner theater in the Upper West is saying “here, hold my canapé.” Damsel’s dark, unmarked entrance leads to a showy chandelier-filled dining room, where wait staff in formal waistcoats pass around hors d'oeuvres and cocktails in classic or trendy, heart-shaped glassware. The food, like lobster salad-stuffed pastry cones and beef wellington, is decent, but the small portions may leave you desiring more. Starting at $60 per person, dinner reservations include a nine-course meal (drinks are additional) and prime seating around the night’s singing and dancing performances, which help liven up your date or pals-night-out.
