Super Six is the Columbia City sister restaurant to Marination Ma Kai (an Infatuation Seattle Greatest Hit), and we like it best at brunch. Grab a huge picnic table on the gravel-covered patio if it’s nice out, and you’ll be that much closer to tasty Hawaiian things like pancakes with toasted macadamia nut butter and coconut syrup, french fries topped with kalua pork/gravy, and eggs benedict with kimchi hollandaise. To really take advantage of this place, start with a mai tai slushie or $15 bottomless mimosas and end with a malasada filled with nutella cream.

Marination South Lake Union is a fast-casual counter that has a similar menu of Hawaiian food as the mini-chain’s flagship location—only without a view.

Rachel’s Ginger Beer image

Rachel’s Ginger Beer is a funky soda shop in the middle of Pike Place, but also the perfect escape from it. Bring your friends from out of town.
