SEAReview
At Meesha, an upscale Indian restaurant in Fremont, the food is pretty good, but not great enough to enthusiastically endorse. Garam masala-spiced ground lamb sliders are tasty, but laced with a touch too much salt and pickled red onions that add even more. We’d be fans of the charcoal-smoked chicken in a rich tomato-cashew sauce if the pieces of meat didn’t vary in dryness. And paneer lasagna sounds exciting in theory, yet it’s really just thin slices of bruleed paneer sandwiched with wet spinach for $28. If you’re in the market for a quiet last-minute first date that involves drinks and buttery kulcha bread in a fancy wallpaper-covered space, proceed. Otherwise, we would direct you to Saffron Grill, Taste Of India or Annapurna Cafe for more consistent Indian dishes.
