SEAReview
Bombo Italian Kitchen is an all-day Ethan Stowell restaurant located inside the newly remodeled Seattle Convention Center, and they serve food comparable to a mediocre room service spread. And we’re all about room service, but only when it’s delivered bedside while using the hotel robe as a napkin.
The pasta dishes here are disappointing, like a beef cheek lasagna with stringy meat that gets stuck in your teeth, and a bland butter and sage tagliarini that a toddler probably wouldn't even touch. And the Italian sub salad, with an entire Subway topping inventory thrown in, is fine, but uninteresting. The pizzas, on the other hand, are more promising. We like the Bombo pizza with crispy soppressata, even though hot honey does a lot of the heavy lifting. We’d come here as a last resort to grab a pizza after being stuck inside the Convention Center all day, but other than that, you won’t miss anything if you stay away.
