In Fall 2022, Cassava reopened in a swanky new space in North Beach, complete with colorful murals and big windows overlooking Columbus Avenue (the original spot was in the Richmond). The prix fixe menu ($118 for five courses) of seasonal Californian dishes this spot is known for is here, along with weekend brunch and an a la carte menu. Order a la carte so you can get a bigger variety of hits, like the juicy buttermilk-brined fried chicken or summer squash rigatoni.
