Like many other hotel bars, this place in the bottom of The Evelyn in Nomad is fairly pricey, appropriately dark, and great for drinks and snacks with a date. Set up like a Jazz Age salon, Tusk Bar’s space consists of two rooms, one with a big U-shaped bar, and another with tables, tie-wearing servers, and a couch under a taxidermied ostrich that appears to be in courtship mode. Signature cocktails like the mignonette martini are precise and interesting, and dishes from the Wildair team are small, but memorable. Try the prosciutto, steak sandwich, or olives stuffed with peppers and anchovies.
