The Crabby Shack
Included In
This mecca for crab lovers in Crown Height has been filling crustacean-related voids in people’s lives since 2014 via a counter in a nautical-themed room that looks slightly nicer than a Long John Silver’s. For a quick and easy meal, get the overstuffed crab roll seasoned with just a little salt. You’ll taste pure crabmeat (as opposed to the lobster roll, which is overwhelmed by old bay and garlic butter). If you’re willing to get a little messy, the snow crabs are even better. We get them as a combo with shrimp submerged in a buttery, sweet-and-spicy sauce. Conveniently, there’s a station set up with self-serve bibs, gloves, and napkins. If it’s not February, order one of the four frozen cocktails on tap, and eat in their covered outdoor structure painted with Keith Haring-like squiggles.
