Pico is a big indoor/outdoor sit-down Mexican restaurant. They make excellent margaritas, the space is great for big groups, and the Mexican food is good enough (and comes out in large enough portions) that it’ll more than get the job done after a long day of sitting out in the sun while friends and/or family try to get you to swim in the ocean.
What was once called Rockaway Taco is now called Tacoway Beach. The good news? The fish tacos are still the best in town.
Rockaway Brewing Co. is a brewery tasting room in the Rockaways where you can get craft beer and some BBQ.
Connolly’s is an old-school Irish bar near Rockaway Beach where you should get a piña colada in a styrofoam cup.
Rockaway Roasters is a coffee shop in the Rockaways with healthy bowls and not-so-healthy pastries.
