At Anita, you will stand in a long line in a very pink and green room behind Upper East Siders holding their goldendoodle puppies while club remixes play at a volume that is unsafe for continued exposure. It might feel like standing in line at a bar, except at the end there’s no watered-down drinks, there’s gelato. This gelato is not for purists—there are 36 flavors, including things like lemon meringue pie and banana split—but it’s a decadent way to end a fancy evening on the UES.
