Le Relais De Venise L'Entrecôte
Included In
This French bistro in Marylebone has created a frenzy among TikTokers and tourists—but we don't think it's worth the wait. Queues begin to form at Le Relais De Venise L'Entrecôte at 5:30pm (it opens at 6pm) and from then on, tables are hustled in and out in 45 minutes flat, and crammed in so tight that they have to be moved to one side by apron-clad staff when you first sit down. The set menu ranges from sad (a soggy walnut salad), to good (the tender, perfectly cooked steaks), to great (the crispy, unlimited fries). It’s good-value but the frenetic pace and the fact you're elbow-to-elbow with the table next to you—most likely influencers or first-timers to the city—doesn't make eating here an enjoyable experience. You could give it a go for the novelty factor and the fries, but we'd recommend one of these excellent steak spots instead.
